About Us
Myers Construction was started in 1964 by Perry Myers. Perry first invested in a motor grader, then a crawler followed by a dirt scrapper. When he first started, Perry leveled over 80 acres of ground for his father and then dirt leveling for many others in the Gates and Broken Bow area, as well as building dams and terraces. Myers Construction added workers and machinery as the years went by and began doing municipal work in 1972. During the 70’s and 80’s Myers Construction focused primarily on building municipal sewer systems and water treatment systems.
In 2006 Perry’s son, Chris, joined his dad in the day to day operations. Throughout the years, the Myers’ have gained experience and knowledge in every facet of construction. Today, Myers Construction specializes in horizontal drilling; underground utility and excavation; sewer and water treatment; demolition; site prep work; and construction of steel buildings. Myers Construction attributes their success to the support of the local people and their hard working employees. Myers Construction celebrated 50 years in business in 2014 – and thankful to be part of a supportive community in Central Nebraska.
